Day 01 : Delhi/Chandigarh To Shimla

When you arrive in Shimla, you will check into your hotel for the night. Use this time to relax and unwind after your journey. Shimla, located in the Himalayas, provides a lovely backdrop with its colonial buildings, lively markets, and panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

Day 02 : Shimla to Sarahan

After breakfast, you will depart Shimla for Sarahan. The approximate travel distance between Shimla and Sarahan is 160 kilometers, which typically takes 6-7 hours by car. The Bhimakali Temple in Sarahan is well-known for its unusual architectural and religious significance. You’ll spend the night in Sarahan, soaking up the tranquil atmosphere of this charming village.

Day 03 : Sarahan to Sangla

Today, you will go from Sarahan to Sangla. The distance between the two locations is around 90 kilometers, which takes about 4-5 hours by car. Sangla Valley is well-known for its natural beauty, apple orchards, and the Baspa River that flows through it. Upon arrival, you can explore the picturesque surroundings and perhaps take a leisurely stroll along the river. Stay the night at Sangla.

Day 04 : Sangla to Chitkul and back

Take a day excursion from Sangla to Chitkul, the last inhabited village along the Indo-China border. The distance between Sangla and Chitkul is around 20 kilometers and takes about an hour to travel by road. Enjoy stunning vistas of snow-capped peaks, verdant meadows, and traditional Kinnauri architecture. Return to Sangla in the evening and spend another night there.

Day 05 : Sangla to Kalpa

Today, you will go from Sangla to Kalpa. The distance is around 50 kilometers, and the trip takes about 2-3 hours. Kalpa is renowned for its breathtaking views of the Kinner Kailash range and the famous Shivling rock formation. Upon arrival, you can explore the settlement, visit the ancient Kalpa Fort, and admire the breathtaking sunset views over the Himalayas. Stay overnight at Kalpa.

Day 06 : Kalpa Exploration

Enjoy the day touring Kalpa at your own speed. You can explore the local market, chat with the friendly residents, or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. Kalpa provides numerous options for photography enthusiasts and environment lovers alike. Enjoy another night in Kalpa.

Day 07 : Kalpa to Narkanda

Today, you’ll leave Kalpa and head to Narkanda. The distance between the two locations is around 170 kilometers, which takes about 6-7 hours by car. Narkanda is well-known for its panoramic beauty, apple orchards, and ski slopes (in season). Upon arrival, you can explore the town or participate in adventure activities. Stay the night in Narkanda.

Day 08 : Narkanda to Chandigarh/Delhi

Early in the morning, you will leave Narkanda for Chandigarh. The estimated distance is 180 kilometers, and the travel usually takes around 7-8 hours. You will be dropped off in Chandigarh, capping off your unforgettable adventure through Himachal Pradesh’s stunning landscapes. Leave with happy recollections of the tranquil mountains, quaint villages, and friendly friendliness.
