Day 01 : Chandigarh/Delhi To Narkanda
Your adventure begins with your arrival in Chandigarh, a vibrant city known for its modern architecture. From there, take a scenic drive to Narkanda, nestled in the Himalayan foothills. The journey is around 175 kilometers long, with picturesque views along the way. As you settle into your overnight accommodations in Narkanda, unwind and absorb the tranquility of the surroundings.
Day 02 : Narkanda To Sangla - Rakchham
After breakfast, we will proceed to Rakchham via the Sarhan Temple. The journey from Karcham onward is both enjoyable and adventurous along the valley. The natural scenery all around, as well as the eternal snow view, are picturesque and charming. This is the most beautiful valley in the entire district of Kinnaur. It is also known as Baspa Valley, as the Baspa River flows through it. Explore the surrounding area, which includes an ancient Kamro Fort and a temple dedicated to Nages God. Leave for Rakchham Village. O/N at the Hotel Rupin River View.
Day 03 : Sangla To Kalpa Via Chitkul
Embark on a captivating journey from Sangla to Kalpa, a distance of approximately 51 kilometers via the charming Chitkul Village. Explore the village and admire the natural beauty as you continue your journey to Kalpa. Visit the Buddhist Gompa and Hu Bu Lan Kar for a spiritual experience. Kalpa’s breathtaking landscapes will serve as your backdrop for the night.
Day 04 : Kalpa To Jibhi Via Jalori - Tabo
Depart from Kalpa and travel approximately 250 kilometers to Jibhi, including a thrilling drive via the Jalori pass. Make stops at Tabo Monastery and Dhankar Gompa to soak up the rich cultural heritage. Finally, travel to Jibhi, a hidden gem in the Himalayas, for a peaceful night’s stay.
Day 05 : Jibhi To Chandigarh/Delhi
Conclude your journey by driving from Jibhi to Chandigarh/Delhi, which is around 320 kilometers. As you return, reflect on the breathtaking landscapes and cultural experiences that made this 5-day adventure unforgettable. Arrive in Chandigarh/Delhi with a treasure trove of memories from your Himalayan adventure.
